Meet happy go lucky Helios. 

Helios is looking for a retirement home, he does love his walks still so 30-60 min adventures at the local park are perfect.

He loves attention, his regular grooming needs are easy to upkeep because of this. Weekly line brushing his thick coat while watching a movie or the news is a must, he's amazing for the groomer.

He loves to cuddle on the couch in the evenings.

No poultry or any sort of pet birds. They're pretty interesting for him, he will also try and chase the ducks and pukekos so needs someone who will continue his training on this is essential. 

Helios is great with kids, though he does try and snatch food out of their hands if the adult is not looking so confident kids over 10 are recommended.

He is great with people and dogs out in public. He loves the beach and loves frolicking in grassy paddocks.

He needs a quieter home, where there are fewer visitors, he finds new visitors a little scary and feels the need to protect the house from them. Luckily, he loves his crate and is respectful of baby gates so if visitors are coming over, he'll happily go away with a chew to relax.

A home without access to busy street life is essential for allowing him to have down time instead of feeling the need to guard the home from everyone. Someone who is able to uphold boundaries and clear communication of when he is and isn't allowed to guard the home is needed for his well-being.
